Most Terras fans were wowed when he arrived on loan near the back end of last season with his rapid pace, his work rate and, once he settled down into the team, his goals!
Many were hoping that he would sign this summer so this is extremely pleasing news! As an “out and out striker” he will provide great competition up front for Goodship & Touray and it will ensure all will be working hard to try to nail down a starting position on the first day of the season this August.

A “Molesley man” this will be at least the FOURTH time the gaffer has worked with Corey so he clearly believes in this player and that he can get the best out of him.
Initially it would have been as as a youth Molesley would have known the defender within the AFC Bournemouth youth structure. Corey joined the Terras on loan from in October 2020 and, whilst this was when Brian Stock was manager, it is possible Molesley at least recommended Jordan as he had left his Weymouth managerial role just a couple of months before. In that spell he played 13 times in claret & blue, starting every game.
Jordan & Molesley would next cross paths in September 2021 when Mark took over the reigns at National league Aldershot. He convinced Jordan to step up a division from Gloucester City despite only signing for the Tigers that summer.
Molesley again managed to convince Jordan to follow him to Gosport last summer – a drop of two divisions to the Southern league in what was seen as a major coup for the club! Jordan last played for “The Boro’” on 9th April, missing the last four games of the season in what appeared to be a solid campaign for the playoff side as he chipped in with the odd goal and assist, clearly capable of joining the attack as well as shoring up the defence.

Another one on the Molesley radar for some time, Mark signed Franny at Conference National Aldershot at the start of the 2022/23 season following a stellar season at Southern league Hayes & Yeading when he rustled the onion bag 25 times in the league. (Molesley only worked with Franny for a couple of months before the gaffer was relieved of his duties in October).
Likened to Abdulai Baggie by some, the physically imposing Franny has played against the Terras at least twice, most recently for Farnborough in a 1-0 win for the Yellows at the BLS in October 2022 when he was heavily involved in the game. He also featured for Slough against the Terras back in 2019 when he was sent off following a tackle on Josh Wakefield! (From 4:59)
In the season just gone he played as high as the second tier in Scotland in a struggling Ayr United side that finished 7th of the 10 teams, narrowly avoiding relegation. Amartey sometimes linked up with former Terra Ahkeem Rose and scored once in 35 games, averaging 37 minutes on the pitch in each outing.

Game 4 v Eastleigh – 90 mins? – Scored both goals(one a pen) in 2-2 draw
Game 5 v AFC Bournemouth U21s – 90 mins and…another goal!
Game 6 v Dorchester – 90 mins

As probably as close as we can get to a “marquee” signing with our budget this has announcement has certainly impressed Weymouth fans and others alike!
A recent ex-AFC Bournemouth academy player (probably know to Molesley in that case and meant he could pull on strings to get this deal done), Brooklyn brings with him League Two experience from just last season with Swindon Town!
Add to that his showing for Ye0vil in “that” game whilst on loan there last season and we appear to have an excellent right back who should be able to cope very comfortably at this level!
His career highlight so far? Probably when he scored for AFC Bournemouth v Norwich in the league cup in 2022/23.

Again Mark M has thumbed through his little black book of AFC Bournemouth scholars he has tutored and hopefully this will be another gem.
A local lad, he was playing for Bridport until being signed by the cherries at the age of 9 and progressed through their youth ranks for 11 years until being released this summer.
As is the way with finding any stats on academy players the evidence is scant but in the handful of youth cup and youth Premier league results available Euan does seem to be able to find the net. Two short loan spells at Hungerford and Truro also point towards someone who can rustle the onion bag.
He will of course face stiff opposition for a starting place in the forward line competing with Goodship, Touray and Linton for minutes but he is an exciting prospect!
Pre-season form…
Game 1 v Hamworthy Rec – Did not play?
Game 2 v Sholing – Played as a trialist in 2nd half and appeared to play very well.

“Welcome home Ben”…”What a signing”
Comment
In many respects it’s tempting to do a bit of a “copy/paste” job here! Another AFC Bournemouth U21 who Molesley worked with there in the recent past.
In fact Greenwood even played in the same league cup tie for the cherries as other new signing Brooklyn Genesini in the 2022/23 season.
However, as we have seen with others, it appears his chances to break into the first team were restricted to benchwarming at best in the premier league and, along with many others, was finally released this summer.
Ben’s journey is a little different to others at it appears he was playing for Hampshire minnows Fleet Spurs until he was 16 before eventually being picked up by the AFC Bournemouth system.
And of course Greenwood is no stranger to us having played on loan for a couple of months at the end of the 2021/22 conference national season. (Although I suspect we did not see the best of him under David Oldfield’s stewardship when it was a difficult time to be a left back at the club when we were shipping goals on route to bombing out of that division.
Ben will provide competition for Leo Hamblin in that left back position and perhaps could also be utilised as a left midfielder or even emergency centre back if required.
Pre-season form…
Game 1 v Hamworthy Rec – Did not play?
Game 2 v Sholing – Did not play unless as a trialist?
Game 3 v Wimborne – Started and played 77mins
Game 4 v Eastleigh – Started and played 90mins?
Game 5 v AFC Bournemouth U21s – Came on for Genesini at the break
Game 6 v Dorchester – Played 90 mins

“Good luck, good signing”
Comment
Our most recent (and potentially final?) signing before the start of the season, Billy makes a return to Weymouth following another short spell on loan near the start of the 2022/23 season.
On that occasion he joined for matchday 4 replacing Bert White between the sticks as gaffer David Oldfield continued to shuffle his pack following relegation from the Conference National division and poor form seemingly following us into the Conference South.
However Billy only lasted four games himself of that loan spell before Oldfield brought in another loanee, Ryan Sandford, for a game which turned out to be Oldfield’s last in charge of the Terras.
It is unclear whether Terrell was meant to stay for more than a month and he appeared to make a very quiet departure back to Bournemouth but from memory not too much blame was laid at the young keeper’s feet (or gloves) as “only” conceding 6 goals over those 4 games was comparatively a good ratio during that tumultuous period and it included a clean sheet in his last game at home to Hemel.
Clearly another man known to Molesley from his AFC Bournemouth coaching days, one has to wonder if it was always his plan to bring in Terrell (or another AFC Bournemouth keeper) for a season long line regardless of Benfield’s performance in pre-season. Will be interesting to see who starts at Tonbridge on Saturday!
Pre-season form…
Games 1-5 – Not at club
Game 6 v Dorchester – Played 90 mins – Let in two goals but made some good saves, commanded area fairly well and distribution was okay.

Previous clubs(most recent last) – Billericay, Hornchurch, Three Bridges, Bognor Regis, Littlehampton, Gosport, Hayes & Yeading
23/24 season – Hayes & Yeading (Step 7)
Comment
Well this guy could hardly hide his stature as a trialist in pre-season games with his height and stature!
Clearly he has done enough to earn a deal but he will face fierce competition for a place in the attacking line up with four others jostling for one or two places each week.
With his height and strength he will certainly offer something different though and probably already known to Molesley as they probably crossed paths recently at Hayes & Yeading and also perhaps before at Gosport.
He is certainly a bit of an unknown outside the lower divisions of non-league in the south east of England but who knows, he could be a diamond in the rough!
Pre-season form…
He was “Trialist A” in some games, who knows, perhaps “Trailist B” in others!

20/21 season – Weymouth (Step 5)
19/20 season – Weymouth (Step 6)
Comment
Quiet and unassuming, “Sonny” was one of those often unnoticed cogs in a midfield wheel during our conference south playoff winning campaign at the start of the pandemic and he went on to play in both our conference national seasons.
Yet another “Molesley man” returning to the club, like Salifu this “trialist” could not be hidden and was in fact named on most teamsheets over the summer.
Apparently he has spent the best part of a year recovering from a serious injury and he is part of a successful physiotherapist practice so it remains to be seen how available he will be and how his fitness stands up to the rigours of conference south football again.
However he will add depth to that defensive midfield area where we are a touch light on numbers at present!
Pre-season form…
